National Preservation Month Buss Tour - Presented by the North Tonawanda History Museum, the Historical Society of North German Settlements, and the Sanborn Area History Museum

An all-day bus trip. Tour one of several planned ours of the Niagara Historic Trail on a Gray Line bus. Routes will take riders on parts of the Canal Trail portion of the original 1975 Niagara Historic Trail and on part of the Lake Legacy portion of the 1991 revision of the trail, with stops for a tour in the Erie Canal Discovery Center and a tour of the historic windows at First Presbyterian Church. Followed by lunch at the Basket Factory in Middleport and a tour of Marjim Manor with wine tasting. Cost is $45 each and includes bus, lunch admission fees and gratuities. RESERVATION REQUIRED.

Soldiers through The Ages - Presented by Old Fort Niagara

Visit the depiction of Niagara County's soldiers from Colonial times through the Cold War. The event features uniform and weapons programs that contrast the last three century's technology, as well as displays of tents, rations, vehicles and a concert of music played at Fort Niagara during the American Revolution.

100 American Craftsmen - Presented by The Kenan Center

It is the 38th year of the show that has become recognized as one of the premier shows of contemporary craft in WNY, with more than 100 exhibiting artisans. Visitors are invited to stroll the gardens and visit the 1850s Kena House and Gallery which allows visitors to get a glimpse of life in Lockport at the turn of the century. There will also be a plant sale by the Kenan Herb Club, live music and gourmet food.

Tour de Cure - Presented by The American Diabetes Association

tour de cure Join this cycling event fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association. Cyclist register and raise a minimum of $150 to ride the distance of their choice. The funds raised are directed towards the research, education and advocay efforts of the American Diabetes Association.

French & Indian War Encampment - Presented by Old Fort Niagara

The World's largest annual living history event focused on the French and Indian War depicts the historic seige of Fort Niagara in 1759. Battle reenactments, children's programs, demonstrations of historic trades and over 1,000 reenactors combine to provide the public with an unforgetable picture of life on the Niagara during the mid 18th century.

24th Annual WNY High School Chalk Walk Competition - Presented by the Lewiston Council on the Arts

Our chalk walk is based on I Madonnari (street painters), an Italian tradition of street paintingthat dates back to the 18th century, and will be held during the 42nd anual Lewiston Art Festival. The competition will be held on a closed to traffic street. This years theme is "200 Years of Diversity".

Bicentennial Victorian Christmas Eve - Presented by the Niagara County Historical Society

Located at the Bond/Hawley House, this National register Home built in 1824 will be the setting for period music, tours of the home, and its inhabitants by docents trained in historical accuracy. The entire twelve furnished rooms will be decorated in the Vistorian style.
